Terms and ConditionsPLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE WHATâS IN THESE TERMS?
These terms tell you the rules for using our website copyclear.ie (our site).WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US
Copyclear.ie is a site operated by Central Copy Clearance Ireland (âWeâ or âCopy Clearâ). We are registered in Ireland under company number 374291 and have our registered office at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2.
In 2003, the Association of Advertisers in Ireland (AAI), the Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland (IAPI) and the drinks industry through the Drinks Industry Group of Ireland (DIGI), established Copy Clear as an independent pre-vetting service to help ensure the advertising of alcoholic brands in Ireland complies with all relevant Codes of Practice.
Alcohol brand owners and their advertising agencies have no role in running Copy Clear nor do they have any influence or involvement in the decisions made by the Copy Clear Managers.
Copy Clear has no role in setting or commenting on the codes by which we operate. In January 2013, the remit of Copy Clear was extended by the ASAI to include all non-paid-for space online, "under the control of the advertiser or their agent, including but not limited to advertisersâ own websites".
Copy Clear is funded by the drinks industry based on their share of submissions via CCCI.ie
Copy Clear is run by a board of nine directors, four of whom are nominated by the AAI and four by IAPI. The board has an independent chair.
